A. DOUGLASS (DOUG) RILEY November 2, 1943 June 11, 2009 Peacefully, in his sleep, Doug passed away after a brief battle with cancer. He worked for many years as an entrepreneur, then at Wajax and Boeing, where he retired in 2001. His passions were his family and his shop. Doug was predeceased by his parents and his first wife Kay. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend Barb, daughter Jennifer Olsen (Tony), son Jim Riley (Cindy), step-sons Ryan Anderson (Jody), Cory Anderson and Casey Anderson (Barbara), sister Martha Scales (Bob), seven grandchildren, Chelsea, Jake, Jack, Grace, Mackenna, Matthew and Ellie, many nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends. Even though his stay at Riverview was brief, we would like to thank the wonderful staff for their great care and compassion. According to Doug's wishes there will be no formal funeral. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Cancer Care Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
